HOW IT WORKS
To set the system up with new tools a single function on the AXYZ SMARTConsole is used to tell the system to pick up each tool and automatically calibrate them on the tool length sensor, conveniently located directly on the carousel unit itself. Once this operation is complete, you’re all set and ready to start machining. No operator involvement is required, and the system automatically selects the correct tool according to those defined in the program and finishes the job as quickly as possible.
The Automatic Tool Changer is compatible with all quick-release, high power routing spindles. As one of our most popular configuration options, the Automatic Tool Changer is compatible with all AXYZ, METALWorker, Trident, and PANELBuilder CNC machines.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT
Before you can place an order, you need to make sure that your CNC Router is ATC ready. If you’re not sure, take a look at the gantry. It should have enough space at the end to install the carousel, which will make the gantry asymmetrical in appearance. If that’s the case, then you’re all set to go!
