AXYZ Cut it for Marshall’s Custom Cabinetry
Marshall’s Custom Cabinetry based in Ancaster, Ontario have been lovingly creating mid to high end cabinetry and millwork for a number of years, producing unique one-of-a-kind designs for mainly residential markets. They specialize in working very closely with the customer to make sure their ideas become a reality.
To increase capacity they decided to approach AXYZ in the spring of 2011, after a recommendation from another local workshop and wisely invested in an AXYZ 4008 CNC router.
The AXYZ 4000 Series routers are an extremely popular choice with cabinet makers and furniture manufacturers. They offer the operator a processing area that is capable of taking a full 8’ (96”) x 4’ (48”) sheet and like all AXYZ Series machines, the 4000 Series is capable of handling the widest range of tooling and application options in the industry.

The company now use the router for cutting everything from arched mouldings, inlays and mortises to tenon joints and furniture legs. Before considering the AXYZ machine, cabinet parts used to take as much as a week to cut but now takes just 1 1/2 days (a massive 40% saving).Not only that, but all cut with complete accuracy and minimal waste.
