AXYZ builds for future growth

Following year on year growth and an increased demand for its CNC routing, engraving and cutting machines, Wolverhampton-based AXYZ has commenced the construction of a new and radically enlarged manufacturing and demonstration facility situated on the new Telford T54 site adjacent to the M54 motorway. A special launch ceremony was recently held at the new site where building has already commenced, attended by senior AXYZ personnel, including the company’s Canada-based President Alf Zeuner, UK Managing Director Mark Sweeney and AXYZ Vice President – Market Development Robert Marshall. Due for completion at the end of June, the new site will be home to AXYZ’s UK and Continental Europe operations.

Alf Zeuner commented: “The construction of a new and much enlarged UK-based facility demonstrates the strong growth pattern of AXYZ within the UK and Continental Europe market. At a cost of £1M, the investment reflects the confidence we have in the future growth of AXYZ in these parts of our global activities.” Endorsing this positive comment, Mark Sweeney added: “We had outgrown our existing premises, both in terms of volume and the size of machines being supplied, resulting in the need to re-locate to a new, larger and strategically located site. The new premises will provide double the production space of our existing factory and administration centre and enable us to offer an enlarged demonstration area to house our continually expanding range of machines.” Included in the many new facilities now possible, the new factory will include a dedicated loading bay to speed up transportation of AXYZ machines and accessories.

Robert Marshall concluded: “This is a major stage in the continuing growth of AXYZ and will greatly enhance our manufacturing and supply capabilities. CNC solutions under our AXYZ and Pacer power brands continue to command a strong presence in the key markets we serve, including primarily the signage and plastics and metal fabrication industries.”
