AXYZ manufacture an extensive range of extra large format machines which are specially designed to suit companies looking for something that little bit bigger and will accommodate oversize sheet material, used on a regular basis by perhaps signmakers, aluminium fabricators, boat builders and plastic fabricators.
The AXYZ 8000 Series of CNC routers fit that bill, with an impressive 2635mm process width. Easily accommodating large format sheets, it is possible to machine a variety of substrates in one single pass. The 8010 for instance can fit two 8’ x 4’ or even 10′ x 4′ sheets of material side by side. With the option of two cutting heads the machine is then capable of cutting high volume parts in duplicate format effectively doubling your productivity, whilst cutting out the need for two machines and using a smaller footprint.
Alternatively this feature allows a job to be processed using two different tools on one machine without pausing the job for any tool change operation. For even greater flexibility an automatic tool changer can be incorporated with either 7 or 21 tool stations, which will allow complex jobs to be run with no operator involvement at all.
If the 8000 Series doesn’t quite fit your needs, then we have the even larger 10000 Series CNC routers. These mammoth machines have a processing width of 3200mm, the largest standard width in the range and can be configured with almost any processing length that may be required. Originally conceived for caravans, mobile homes and recreational vehicle (RV) manufacturers, they have since become a popular choice with aluminium fabricators, signmakers and plastic fabricators to name but a few.
