They are especially suitable for machining the new rigid foam board used in the D&D Knockout system for making male and female stripping and blanking units. Cutting of the high density foam is fast and accurate thanks to the high speed spindle and special programming features which allow the cutter to be ramped down into the thick material.

Base boards are quick and easy to cut using the special double sided machining feature. This is essential for cutting discrete chamfers and putting a taper relief on the female stripping units. A single mouse click in the software automatically reverses all toolpaths and correctly positions them for two sided cutting.

The precise control and drive systems on the DieMaker machines also allow them to be used for the production of Pertinax counters. Exact cutting depths are easily set and the high resolution ballscrew drives used on all 3 axes ensure smooth, accurate and repeatable motion at all times. A specially designed nosecone engraving unit which can be used with the automatic toolchanger maintains precise and consistent slot depths in the Pertinax even if there are slight variations in bed flatness.

The machine programming system will work with design data from all existing CAD systems and imports drawings in several formats including DXF and CF2. Generation of the machine program is quick and easy and uses 3D graphics to view the result before cutting.
